Trafford Golf Centre is celebrating a record-breaking year as it announces over 12 million golf balls have been hit in the last 12 months, the highest annual figure in the golf centre’s 18 years of trading.

The lucky golfer to hit the 12 millionth golf ball was Jeremy Hinds, who received a free lesson from Director of Golf, Pete Styles, in The Academy at Trafford Golf Centre to celebrate.

A regular visitor to Trafford Golf Centre, Jeremy said: “After visiting Trafford Golf Centre for the last 6 years, it was a great surprise to find out I’d hit the lucky 12 millionth ball. I frequently take lessons with Pete and practice each week, the staff are also super supportive and friendly. I’m impressed with the quality of the balls, the power tees and the constant investment to improve the facility.”

Following the launch of the new DinoFalls Adventure Golf course at the facility in November, the golf centre will also be welcoming the 10,000th round on the biggest 18-hole dinosaur adventure golf course out of London in the coming weeks. This Christmas, explorers of all ages can enjoy a special Christmas Hunt on the course from 19th December to 7th January. Take part and solve the secret message to win a token gift!

The action-packed course, set within a dramatic Jurassic setting next to the M60, features gigantic moving (and roaring!) dinosaurs including Tyrannosaurus Rex, Allosaurus, Triceratops and a water-spraying Pterodactyl around the course, set around a winding river and huge cascading waterfall. The site also features a ‘Selfie-osaurus’ for capturing memorable moments.

Director of Golf at Trafford Golf Centre, Pete Styles said, “Congratulations to Jeremy Hinds on being the lucky person to have hit the 12 millionth golf ball at Trafford Golf Centre this year. We are so pleased to have reached this landmark in what has been our busiest year to date. Trafford Golf Centre has gone from strength to strength in recent years, with the addition of DinoFalls Adventure Golf bringing more families and mini golf fans over to visit us.”

Open 7 days a week from 7am until late as well as Bank Holidays, Trafford Golf Centre offers top class facilities with 57 undercover driving bays over two tiers with a floodlit outfield, an American Golf Store, café and extensive free on-site car parking. The Academy at Trafford Golf Centre is one of the most advanced golf teaching facilities in the country with superb facilities and state-of-the-art technology. Lessons can be created for every ability and school groups can also be accommodated.
