This on-course video log of Andy Carter PGA Teaching Professional at Trafford Golf Centre helps players understand the thought processes a golfer should go through in the lead up to executing a golf shot. Player who do not think enough about what they are doing during the shot will not hit the ball consistently on the course.
PGA Golf Coach Ged Walters shows you how to place your hands on the handle
to create the perfect neutral grip.

It’s All About The Moment Of Truth………...
Meet Alex,
A 2 handicapper currently enrolled at Plymouth University studying a Golf Management degree.
We worked hard on the off season to help Alex improve his game, but having not seen him for 2-3 months due to University, the swing had slipped back into older habits due to playing a lot of unsupervised golf .
As you can see on the video we worked on his swing plane to improve his balls shape and trajectory. Most golfers will be able to relate to this swing in terms of its path, as he come across his backswing line causing pull shots with his irons and fade/slices with his longer clubs.
To help maintain Alex’s golf swing, he is under instruction to send weekly videos so I can help maintain his progression
This week Trafford Golf Centre’s Ged Walters shows how to deliver the club for a more solid strike
by not collapsing your lead leg in the downswing.
Stop Your Lead Leg Collapsing In The Golf Swing
This video shows the improvements which can be made during a 1 hour golf assessment lesson with Andy Carter.
A players swing plane is vital for the outcome of their shots.
The majority of golfers want to hit a draw shape, and that’s because the majority of golfers actually hit a slice.
The feedback from shots was a slice, heavy connection and even pull hooks.
This lesson completely re-vamped his swing plane and led to cleaner hits, better trajectory and a more consistent shape.
I am looking forward to working more with him and improving his game.
Practice this fantastic drill from PGA Teaching Professional Ged Walters and you will stop slicing your golf shots !!!
